Mountain Designs renews with Computer One for Complete Care

Mountain Designs extends relationship with Computer One

12/05/2015 – Today we’re pleased to announce that Mountain Designs, already a long-time client, has decided to expand its service relationship with Computer One to include our comprehensive Managed Services product – Complete Care. 

Following an internal restructure, Mountain Designs have placed their trust in Computer One to provide an outsourced support and ICT management framework, to complement their in-house team, and improve response times and accountability.

We now provide:

• Helpdesk support to 40 stores across Australia for POS, EFTPOS and general IT issues.  The support extends across all Australian time-zones which means we deliver across a window of 6am to 11pm each day with a priority queue dedicated to Mountain Designs.
• Level 1, 2 and 3 Support for management and maintenance of the in-house and cloud-based infrastructure for 50 corporate users.
• Key vendor management, including the telecommunications and data services.
• A single Service Desk Management system used by both a small in-house application support team and Computer One.  It provides a single pane of glass for managing IT support seamlessly for the users.
• Vendor Management (licensing and telecommunications).
• IT Strategy and Business Alignment consulting.

One of the key objectives of the engagement is to empower Mountain Designs to change course in future as their requirements change.  Computer One will develop the knowledge base, standard configuration documentation, and procedures required to effectively manage the ICT operations day-in, day-out as part of our standard deliverables.

We will also be working very closely with Mountain Designs to create an effective cloud services strategy, moving workloads to the most appropriate location and navigating the minefield of licensing, cross-connections, and service levels.

Update – The re-signing of Mountain Designs confirmed Computer One’s place in the Retail IT Management space. We also manage IT services for brands like Rivers, Laser Clinics Australia and floor covering specialist Andersens.
