Well it was a long night, but the Computer One team and more than 100 other Brisbane CEO's and their Executive teams stayed out in the cold underneath the Story Bridge last night to raise money for the 9,700 homeless in our city. Thankfully, it was neither too cold nor too wet so the night passed without too much discomfort. It certainly gives you a better appreciation for what you've got.
Congratulations to the St Vinnie's coordination team and volunteers from Rosies and Merlo and Hit105 who were all on site to do their bit to make participants feel welcome.
We managed to raise more than $4,200 from our favourite clients, suppliers, employees, friends and family. It's an effort we're very proud of. Across the country the campaign has raised more than $5.5million.
